Honda said Tuesday it plans to make 1.15 million vehicles in Japan in the fiscal year ending March 31, revising down its forecast made just a week earlier for output of 1.17 million vehicles.

Honda also said it plans to cut its planned North American production to 1.26 million vehicles, a further reduction of 29,000 vehicles from those announced so far, and down about 12% from a year earlier.

This information shows that there is a rapid fall in the demand of their product ........they have to do something fast to raise their total demand ....of course one can argue the fact that global economic slowdown is a reason for this anomaly but that does not mean they have to cut down their production efficient strategies can still create wonders like Tata did they are still having a increase in sale due to improvisational strategies
